Job summary

Summit Electric Supply is seeking an entry-level Warehouse associate in Texas to receive materials from vendors, pick customer orders for will call or delivery, and participate in cycle counting and inventory management. This role is an excellent entry point to learn products and industry practices.

The position emphasizes safety, efficiency, teamwork, and a path to future opportunities within Summit and the Sonepar group.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Time management - strong ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, oral and written.

Responsibilities

• Pull customer tickets to fulfill orders.
• Prepare orders for shipment to customers.
• Load and unload Summit trucks.
• Receive and stock products on a daily basis to replenish inventory.
• Understand products and their capabilities and warranties.
• Assist sales associates in fulfilling customer orders when necessary.
• Ensure warehouse and respective outside areas are neat and clean at all times.
• Maintaining safe practices and proactively upholds Summit's commitment to a safe workplace.
