Job summary

PCI Pharma Services is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Material Management Associate I in San Diego to support inventory movement and material handling across departments. The role requires basic familiarity with receiving, shipping and material transfers, plus adherence to SOPs and GMP practices.

The successful candidate will have a High school diploma or GED, 0–2 years in materials, experience with ERP/MRP systems, and strong attention to detail with solid written/verbal communication.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Zero to two (0-2) years of material management experience.
  • Experience in a cGMP environment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Familiarity with quality standards, supplier management policies and cGMP standards.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems and planning tools preferred.
  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Supports inventory movement and material support to PCI Pharma Services departments.
  • Follows SOPs for raw material movement, inventory, transfers and CSM inventory.
  • Train on GMP processes in materials management and SOPs.
  • Perform receiving, inventory control, shipping and internal logistics.
  • Maintain regular, reliable attendance on a full-time basis.

The Warehouse Associate/Material Management Associate I supports the processes associated with inventory movement and material support to other PCI Pharma Services departments. This position should have a basic understanding of the receipt, shipment or movement of Non-GMP material, Raw Materials, Samples, Drug Substance and Final Product. Employees will be expected to follow PCI Pharma Service’s SOP’s for raw material movement, raw material inventory, material transfer, CSM inventory. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS-OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED: Train on GMP processes in materials management. Train on required SOPs and execute training curriculum. Responsible for exhibiting professional behavior with both internal and external business associates that reflect positively on the company. Performs various materials management functions such as receiving, inventory control, shipping and internal logistics. Regular and reliable attendance on a full time basis. Embodies PCI Pharma Service’s cultural values. Aligns daily actions with department and company goals.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Bachelors in Science Preferred
  • Zero to two (0-2) years of material management experience.
  • Experience in a cGMP environment strongly preferred.
  • Ability to follow directions in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to work independently, within prescribed guidelines or as a team member.
  • Familiarity with quality standards, supplier management policies and cGMP standards.
  • Extensive experience with ERP systems and planning tools preferred.
  • Proven track record of problem solving and cross functional teamwork
  • Detail oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.

The hiring rate for this position is $17.75 - $19.40 per hour plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
