SAFA GOODS LLC in Punta Gorda, FL, is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Driver to support picking, packing, and shipping of orders on-site. You will help maintain inventory accuracy, load and unload, and ensure timely deliveries with safe driving practices.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year in a warehouse, a valid driver's license, and a clean driving record. This full-time role requires reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow directions

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be at least 25 years of age to meet company vehicle insurance requirements and product handling policies.
• Strong knowledge of road safety and traffic laws.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow directions.
• Must be reliable and punctual.

Responsabilidades

• Accurately pick products to fulfill orders based on packing slips or system instructions.
• Pack items securely and label packages for shipping.
• Load, unload, and move boxes.
• Inspect items for defects and report any issues as required.
• Deliver products to business locations, ensuring accuracy and professionalism during each delivery stop.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries.
• Follow all traffic laws and demonstrate defensive driving practices.
• Receive payments from stores when required and handle funds responsibly.
• Maintain cleanliness of the warehouse by sweeping, taking out trash, and completing other basic custodial tasks as needed.

Job Title: Warehouse Associate/Driver

Position Overview:

The Warehouse Associate plays a role in daily warehouse operations by handling the picking, packing, and shipping of orders. This position supports the flow of inventory and ensures timely and accurate fulfillment while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The primary duties of the position include, but are not limited to:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift certification or experience is a plus
• Prior delivery driving experience preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull boxes and packages weighing up to 60 lbs multiple times throughout the day
• Frequent entering and exiting of a delivery van, including stepping up/down from elevated surfaces
• Regular bending at the waist, squatting, and reaching to load and unload products from shelving, carts, or vehicle interiors
• Prolonged periods of sitting while driving between delivery locations, with intermittent periods of physical exertion
• Exposure to varying temperatures and weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain during outdoor loading/unloading and store access
• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness to safely operate vehicles and handle merchandise in tight spaces

• Full-time, Monday to Friday
• Shift hours may vary
• Overtime as needed; weekends as needed
• This position is classified as non-exempt, meaning you are eligible for overtime pay in accordance with company policy and applicable law
