The United Family of Companies in Georgia is seeking a warehouse-based role assembling commercial door, frame, and hardware assemblies for shipment. You will hang hollow-metal doors, install hinges and hardware, and adjust units so they swing and seal to specs.
Candidates should have hands-on door hardware experience, forklift certification, blueprint reading, own tools, reliable attendance, and transportation to the warehouse. OSHA 10/30 is a plus.
This is a warehouse-based position building out commercial door, frame, and hardware assemblies before they ship to the field. You'll hang hollow-metal doors in their frames, install hinges, closers, locksets, exit devices, and related hardware, and adjust each unit until it swings, latches, and seals the way the specs call for. The work runs off hardware schedules and door schedules, with completed assemblies staged, labeled, and prepped for delivery to project sites.
If you know doors and hardware inside and out, this is steady, year-round work with a national subcontractor - no travel, no chasing jobs from site to site, just consistent hours in the shop and real room to grow.
The United Family of Companies is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to status as a protected veteran or a qualified individual with a disability, or other protected status, such as race, religion, color, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or age.
