Job summary

United Contractor Services in Kennesaw, GA, is seeking a skilled door hardware assembler for a warehouse-based role. You will build doors, frames, and hardware assemblies and ensure they ship to field projects per schedules.

Responsibilities include installing hinges, closers, locksets, and exit devices, then testing and adjusting units for proper operation before shipment. Reading blueprints and schedules is essential; own tools are preferred. Opportunity for advancement exists.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling commercial door hardware and frames.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret schedules.
• Own hand tools and problem-solve without supervision.
• Forklift certification is a plus.
• OSHA 10/30 training is a plus.
• Reliable attendance and transportation to the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Assemble doors and frames square, plumb, with correct clearances.
• Install hinges, closers, locksets, exit devices, thresholds, weatherstripping.
• Test and adjust hardware for proper operation before shipment.
• Work from schedules, shop drawings, and blueprints.
• Stage and label finished assemblies for shipment to job sites.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized shop and coordinate with leadership on priorities.
