Job summary

Unified Door & Hardware Group (UDHG) is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our fast-paced team in Lawrenceville, GA. The role involves receiving, organizing, and safely loading materials while maintaining accuracy and safety standards.

You will help ensure smooth daily operations and support building product knowledge across the warehouse. The ideal candidate has warehouse experience and is comfortable with lifting, equipment operation, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Building supply warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse.
• Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services.
• Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size.
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials.
• Allocate and move material to its correct place and always ensure an orderly warehouse.
• Maintain packing specifications, and make suitable skids/pallets, etc.
• Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories.
• Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment.
• Use proper lifting techniques.
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Customer Service & Product Knowledge

• Provide service to customers entering the warehouse

• Perform minor building maintenance when necessary
• Receive, organize, and move incoming materials and load outgoing materials

Safety

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment

• Use proper lifting techniques
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing

Trainings

• Attend and participate in all required company training programs

Physical Requirements

• Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
• Occasional operation of forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
• Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying approximately 100 lbs. utilizing proper lifting procedures

• Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned

Miscellaneous
