Job summary

Forensics Source is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick, pack, and ship orders, and to process these orders through inventory systems. You will perform final inspections and packaging while aligning with vendor routing requirements and receive a variety of goods into the system.

You will maintain a clean, 6S-compliant workspace, verify packing slips against goods received, and use Excel/Word daily. The role requires safety awareness and teamwork in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree not required.
• Five to seven years of warehouse experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel; basic computer skills needed.

Responsibilities

Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Summary of Job:

Pick, pack, and ship all orders are required. Will process these orders through various shipping and inventory systems. Perform final inspection and packaging of orders as necessary while adhering to all Vendor guide and Vendor routing requirements. This position will include receiving a variety of goods including finished products and raw materials into the system.

Essential JobFunctions:

• Read order for address and shipping instructions and enter address and preferred shipping instructions, after unit is placed on scale.
• Review open order backlog for shippable orders.
• Accurately pulling, packing, and shipping products on customer orders.
• Reviewing Multiple ship screens daily to prioritize workload
• Scanning all UPC codes and orders into multiple systems for internal order/product tracking.
• Read order for address and shipping instructions and enter address and preferred shipping instructions, after unit is placed on scale.
• Scanning all UPC codes and orders into multiple systems for internal order/product tracking.
• Review open order backlog for shippable orders
• Receives raw materials from suppliers (i.e. to unpack, label and stock). Verifies packing slip against goods received, matches purchase order to packing slip and labels all incoming raw materials with the part number, purchase order and date of receipt.
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance to the 6S checklist
• Properly puts away any items on the receiving table in a timely fashion
• Observe all safety regulations and procedures of the facility.
• Perform other assignments, as directed by source of supervision.

Preferred Experience:

• Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience working in a warehouse setting
• Computer experience including Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience with Internet usage and e-mail.

Required Education:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED).
• No college degree is required for this position but would be helpful in the advancementopportunity.
