Harlan Global Manufacturing, LLC is seeking a warehouse associate to distribute materials and products within the facility and verify outbound shipments. You will also pull parts for Quality Assurance and prepare orders for packing and shipment.

Responsibilities include reading orders, moving items, sorting by product code, and operating shipping systems like UPS/FedEx. A high school diploma or GED is required, with forklift and scanner experience a plus.

Summary

This position is primarily responsible for distributing material, tools, equipment, and products within the facility; and verifying and recording outbound shipments. This position will also be pulling parts on outbound shipments for Quality Assurance inspection.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.
• Operates small package carrier (UPS and FedEx) shipping systems.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates and other containers.
• Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.
• Weighs inventory items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.
• Opens and transports stored items from warehouse to plant or picks up items from several locations for shipment.
• Forklift experience a plus.
• Scanner experience a must.
• Performs other duties as requested, directed or assigned.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• Must be able to move up to 50 pounds at a time.
