Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver for Rock Hill, SC. This full-time, on-site role focuses on receiving, organizing, picking, and preparing products, with occasional local deliveries as a backup driver.

You’ll gain hands-on experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, wire cutting, shipping, and receiving while supporting daily branch operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior warehouse or related experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Must be able to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and related equipment after training.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving products and materials.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Check in merchandise and verify incoming products.
• Sort and place products on racks, shelves, or bins per codes.
• Pick and prepare products for customer orders and shipment.
• Prepare parcels for mailing or delivery.
• Pull and cut wire to specified lengths as needed.
• Safely operate warehouse equipment after training.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe warehouse environment.
• Serve as a backup driver for local deliveries when needed.
• Provide friendly, professional service during deliveries.

Keep the products, people, and projects moving with State Electric Supply Co. as a Warehouse Associate / Backup Driver in Goldsboro, NC.

This is a warehouse-first role with the added opportunity to support local deliveries when needed. You’ll spend most of your time receiving, organizing, picking, and preparing products while also serving as a dependable backup driver for the branch. Your work helps keep our warehouse organized, our customers supplied, and daily operations moving smoothly.

What You’ll Do

What You’ll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse or related experience is preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Ability and willingness to complete training to safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
• Ability to safely load, unload, move, and organize products throughout the workday.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Dependability and flexibility to support occasional delivery needs.
• A customer-focused attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
