Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. is hiring a Warehouse Associate / Delivery Driver in Rock Hill, SC. This role focuses on receiving, organizing, picking, and preparing products, with occasional local deliveries as a backup driver for the branch.

You will help keep the warehouse organized and customers supplied, while gaining experience with forklifts, wire cutting, and shipment processing in a growing electrical distribution company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability and willingness to complete training to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipping and receiving products and materials.
• Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Check in merchandise and verify incoming products.
• Sort and place products on racks, shelves, or in bins according to established organization and product codes.
• Pick and prepare products for customer orders and shipment.
• Prepare parcels and materials for mailing or delivery.
• Pull and cut wire to specified lengths as needed.
• Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment after training.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Serve as a backup driver for local customer deliveries when needed, using company-owned vans or box trucks.
• Provide friendly, professional service to customers during deliveries and complete required delivery documentation.
• Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as needed to support the branch team.
