Job summary

State Electric Supply Co. in Huntington, WV is hiring a Warehouse Associate to support shipping, receiving and inventory tasks in a fast-paced, customer-focused distribution environment.

You will load and unload materials, check in merchandise, sort items, prepare parcels for mailing and, as needed, pull wire to length and serve as a backup delivery driver (no CDL required). A high school diploma or equivalent and about one year of warehouse experience are preferred; we provide comprehensive

• Ability to safely operate forklift, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.

• Assisting shipping and receiving materials or items.

• Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, and color or product code.
• Preparing parcels for mailing.
• Pulling and cutting wire to specified lengths as needed/assigned.
• Serve as a backup delivery driver as needed and assigned. (No CDL required)
• Acting as a back-up delivery driver as needed and assigned
• Assisting in other Warehouse task as needed and assigned.
