UNFI is seeking a Warehouse Associate to efficiently manage merchandise flow in our distribution center in Carlisle. The role emphasizes accuracy, productivity, and safety while handling varied product lines.

You will cross-train in multiple facility areas and operate equipment to move, palletize, and prepare shipments for stores, with emphasis on safe, compliant operations and teamwork.

Job Overview

Efficiently handle the flow of merchandise throughout the distribution facility in an accurate, productive and safe manner.

Job Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Select merchandise to be shipped to stores.
• Palletize merchandise and shrink wrap.
• Operate material handling equipment necessary to transport, stack, replenish, or select merchandise.
• Cross train and work in various areas of the facility.
• Follow company procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Job Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to reach at the shoulder, above shoulder and below shoulder on a frequent basis.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, squat, push and pull on a frequent basis.
• Ability to operate equipment
• Good judgement is required as their may be times when immediate supervision is not available
