Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our distribution team in Harrisburg. You will verify and receive correct product using an RF gun, handle pallets, and support efficient receiving operations.

This full-time role requires forklift operation, basic math, the ability to lift up to 90 pounds, and learning OMNI and RFICS systems in a large nationwide company. We offer competitive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• RF gun verification and accurate receiving processes.
• Read, write and perform simple math calculations.
• Must be able to lift and transport items weighing up to approximately 90 pounds.
• Learn and operate computerized check-in systems (OMNI, RFICS) and hardware (Telxon).
• Good judgment and ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Accounts for all pallet labels for each order.
• Checks all items to ensure correct description and quantity.
• Processes receiving paperwork.
• Coordinates the correct sequence of orders, counting shortages and overflows with the dock supervisor.
• Ensures order selectors and forklift operators exchange merchandise sent in error.

Job Overview:

• Ensure verifies and receives correct product using RF gun while maintaining an engineered work expectancy.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Must have the ability to learn computerized check-in systems (OMNI, RFICS & ETC.) and operate computerized checking hardware (Telxon).
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
