Job summary

Cardinal Health’s Saint Charles facility is hiring for a warehouse associate to support order fulfillment in a fast-paced distribution environment. You will pick, inspect, pack, and prepare orders for shipment while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Candidates with little to no warehouse experience are welcome. Training is provided on day one; lifting up to 50 pounds, potential overtime, and use of material handling equipment may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Overtime flexibility as needed.
• Experience in a fast-paced distribution environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill orders by picking, quality checking, packing and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas or participate in projects as needed.
• May wear steel-toed boots in the warehouse.
• Occasional cold-temperature work during shifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist with inventory control.
• Train and be certified to operate material handling equipment as required.

Schedule

Monday-Friday from 7:30am-4:00pm (or until work is finished). Overtime may vary based on business needs.

Pay

Pay rate: $20.17 per hour. Bonus eligible: No.

Warehouse Operations Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and/or participating in projects as assigned by your manager or other management team member as needed.
• May be required to occasionally wear steel‑toed boots in the warehouse while performing certain job duties.
• May be responsible for working in cold temperatures throughout segments of the shift.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie rider.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed

• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus
• High School Diploma/GED preferred
