Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking team members for a night shift that runs Sunday through Thursday, starting 6:00pm to completion. The role includes picking, packing, quality checks, and preparing orders for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse.

You may cross-train across warehouse areas and participate in projects while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Training on material handling equipment is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required/preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work at heights.
• Must be flexible to overtime when needed.
• Basic proficiency in reading and writing English for documents.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders, including picking, QC checks, packing, and preparing shipments.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control to maintain a safe work environment.
• Be willing to train and be certified to operate material handling equipment (e.g., cherry picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack).

Shift Details

Sunday through Thursday: Sunday: 6:00pm to task completion; Monday - Thursday: 7:00pm-4:00am (or until task completion). Mandatory Overtime. Shift start may change at management discretion.

Anticipated hourly range: $20.60 per hour - $21.20 per hour based on experience (includes shift differential). Bonus eligible: No.

Responsibilities

• Follow established process to fulfill orders. This includes accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
• Cross-training in multiple areas of the warehouse and participating in projects as needed.
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment as required by job duty. Example equipment in the facility includes order picker (cherry picker), forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, and walkie ride.

Qualifications

• We are open to candidates with little to no warehouse experience. If you are comfortable working in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment you could be a great fit for our team. All training is provided starting your first day!
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
• Must be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established performance quotas and attendance requirements.
• Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus.
• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English is required, including being able to read and write in English in order to process documents.
