Job summary

Grainger is hiring Distribution Center Associates in Mira Loma, CA 91752 to handle inbound and outbound warehouse tasks with high attention to detail. You'll work with a team to unload, sort, label, replenish and pack, ensuring accuracy and speed while following safety rules.

We offer day shifts with full-time and part-time positions. Pay starts at $22/hour with raises to $23.20/hour, plus $1/hour for PIE operators, and benefits start on day one including health and retirement options.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum age 18+.
• Able to lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and outbound warehouse tasks ( unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, packing).
• Ensure products are packed and shipped correctly to meet customer expectations.
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, attendance and overtime requirements as needed.
• Operate scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe work environment per OSHA rules.

Compensation:

This position is hourly. Pay starts at$22/hour [with three raises in 12 months bringing your pay to $23.20/hour]

• + $1/hour for powered industrial equipment (PIE) operators**
• Day shift: Monday - Friday 8:45 am or 9:45 am start time

You Will

Job Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks, e.g. unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packing, with strong attention to detail
• Ensure products are packed and shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements
• Perform other tasks as directed by the leadership team
• Able to work in a team environment.

You Have

Job Requirements

• Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age
• Able to frequently lift, slide and lower packages up to 75 pounds

Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, and background check

• Able to receive feedback and work well in a team environment
• **For PIE operators: operate warehouse vehicles, material handling equipment and powered industrial equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck
