Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking Warehouse Associate Nights in Fountain Inn, SC.

The role offers 4x10 schedules with Sunday-Wednesday or Monday-Thursday start times and end times, plus weekend time off. Base pay starts at $19.30/hour with raises planned within 12 months, plus additional PIE and shift-differential pay. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs on occasion.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks including unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing and packing.
• Ensure correct packing and shipping to meet quality and delivery speed expectations.
• Operate scanning equipment and maintain clean, safe work environment per OSHA guidelines.
• Meet safety, productivity, attendance and overtime requirements as needed.
• Perform other tasks as directed by leadership.

Compensation:

This position is hourly. Pay starts at$19.30/hour [with three raises in 12 months bringing your pay to $20.50/hour]

• + $1/hour for powered industrial equipment (PIE) operators**
• $1/hour for 3rd shift differential

Job Responsibilities

• Safely complete inbound and/or outbound warehouse tasks, e.g. unloading, sorting, labeling, replenishing, auditing, and packing, with strong attention to detail
• Ensure products are packed and shipped correctly to exceed customers' expectations for quality and delivery speed
• Meet safety, quality, productivity, behavior, attendance, and overtime requirements as needed
• Operate computerized scanning equipment and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements
• Perform other tasks as directed by the leadership team

Job Requirements

• Comfortable working on your feet with exposure to heat, cold, noise, and dust while working around moving equipment and elevated stations
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least 18 years of age
• The physical requirements for this position include frequently lifting, pushing, and sliding packages that typically weight up to 50lbs, and may have to occasionally lift up to 75lbs
• Able to receive feedback and work well in a team environment
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and physical lifting assessment
• **For PIE operators: operate warehouse vehicles, material handling equipment and powered industrial equipment, including Crown, Pacer, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Barrett and Turret Truck
