Job summary

Cardinal Health is hiring for a Warehouse Operations role in Swedesboro, NJ. You will follow SOPs to pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, using RF scanners and various warehouse equipment. Training starts day one and overtime may be required in a fast-paced distribution environment.

The job includes standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and collaborating with team members to meet daily goals. A HS diploma or GED is preferred, with current safety gear requirements in place.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years of related warehouse/distribution center experience preferred.
• Automated or RF (Radio Frequency) warehouse experience beneficial.
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (pallet jacks, cherry/order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts) as needed.
• Ability to work standing for long periods of time with frequent stooping or bending.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to be detail oriented, quality focused and self-motivated.
• Fluent in English preferred reading/writing.
• Ability to work in coordination with other team members to accomplish goals.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders including picking, quality checks, sorting, packing, and loading for shipment.
• Cross-train in multiple areas of the warehouse and participate in projects as assigned.
• Cross-train in inbound and outbound areas.
• Receive large boxes on dock, scan product with RF scanner, input data into computer.
• Break down cases and operate equipment to replenish warehouse.
• Work overtime as needed and meet performance quotas and attendance requirements.
• Utilize voice-pick system to select items and place on cart.
• Palletize items and wrap for shipment; pack small items in boxes.
• Operate material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack).
• Perform housekeeping and inventory control, maintain safety compliance.
