Caterpillar Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate at our Spokane Distribution Center. Join a fast-paced team and contribute to receiving, processing, storing, and shipping parts with safety as a priority.

Multiple shifts and competitive hourly pay with benefits start on day one. You will operate scanners, learn to use order pickers and forklifts, and participate in housekeeping and quality checks. Candidates should have at least 1 year of warehouse experience and physical stamina for lifting up

Responsibilities

• Safely perform material handling and warehousing processes for receiving, processing, storing, moving, packing and shipping of parts and materials.
• Operate handheld scanners to access and update information for receiving, counting and order processing.
• Be trained to operate order pickers, reach trucks, sit-down forklifts and overhead hoists where applicable; equipment availability may vary.
• Report defects and needs for repairs, and support housekeeping duties as required.
• Assist with painting and rust prevention tasks using appropriate tools; help construct wooden shipping containers.
