Job summary

Evernorth Health Services in Memphis is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team. You will cross-train to support inventory, receiving, picking and packing to ensure patients receive medications on time and in good condition.

The role features a Monday–Friday 9:00 AM–6:00 PM schedule, on-site work, and opportunities to work with forklifts and other material handling tools. Attention to detail and basic computer skills are essential, with a focus on accuracy and safety.

• Operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Are you ready to step into a position that combines your attention to detail and warehouse operations skills with your drive to help others? We’re looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our Operations team in Memphis. You will cross-train to support several departments including inventory, receiving, picking and packing to ensure our patients get the medication they need at the right time. Monday - Friday, 9AM – 6PM (or until completion)

What you’ll do:

• Receive inbound deliveries/packages, unpack and evaluate incoming product for correct count and condition
• Maintain accurate inventory supporting cycle counts and reconciling any discrepancies
• Replenish stock in warehouse as needed
• Pick orders, manifest cartons, verify accuracy of order, stack and shrink wrap orders for shipment
• Verify orders are accurate and packed according to specifications: extra dunnage, ice, and special instructions
• Safely operate material handling equipment and hand tools as needed such as forklifts, pallet jacks (manual and electric), carts, dollies, box cutters, wire cutters, etc.
• Other duties as assigned

What you need to do the job:

• Previous work experience in a distribution center environment
• Basic computer skills and RF unit experience helpful
• Ability to read, write and type in English
• Attention to detail is a MUST
• Ability to walk/stand for the duration of the shift and lift about 30 lbs. as needed
