Job summary

Relogistics in Hammond, LA is seeking a Break Pack Sorter to hand sort reusable boxes, grade quality, and maintain a clean, safe work area. You will work on 2nd, 3rd, or 4th shift with hours from 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, or 4:30 PM to 3:00 AM, and earn $16.00 per hour.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED, safety awareness, and the ability to work overtime. You’ll help with loading and unloading, pallet handling, and completing production paperwork while staying

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Experience in warehouse/general labor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack boxes onto pallets to appropriate height.
• Load/unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Examine products to verify quality.
• Ensure pallets are properly secured before moving.
• Move pallets and materials around the storage facility.
• Coordinate trailer moves with shifts lead/on-site manager.
• Complete all production paperwork accurately.
• Communicate updates to Shift Lead or On-Site Manager.
• Maintain Relogistics efficiency and production standards.

Overview

As a Break Pack Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort reusable cardboard boxes to grade and ensure a clean and safe working area is maintained.

Hourly Pay

$16.00/hr

Shift(s)

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

3rd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

4th Shift: Wednesday - Saturday: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Hand stack cardboard boxes onto designated pallets to appropriate height
• Load/unload materials from trailers by hand
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
• Check finished pallets are properly secured prior to moving
• Move pallets and materials in crates around the storage facility
• Assist with coordinating trailer moves
• Accurately complete all production paperwork
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager to provide regular updates
• Maintain Relogistics efficiency and standards of production

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• High degree of attention required to avoid safety incidents
• Ability to work overtime if/when necessary
• Previous experience with warehouse labor, general labor, construction, material handling, material moving is preferred
