Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Break Pack Sorter in Hammond, LA. You will hand stack boxes, load/unload from trailers, and inspect pallets for quality while maintaining a safe workspace.

The job requires reliable attendance, ability to work overtime, and experience in warehouse or general labor. Physically capable of lifting up to 70 pounds and adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong safety awareness to avoid incidents.
• Experience in warehouse or material handling preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Hand stack cardboard boxes onto designated pallets to appropriate height.
• Load/unload materials from trailers by hand.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Check finished pallets are properly secured prior to moving.
• Move pallets and materials in crates around the storage facility.
• Assist with coordinating trailer moves.
• Accurately complete all production paperwork.
• Communicate directly with Shift Lead or On-Site Manager to provide regular updates.
• Maintain Relogistics efficiency and standards of production.

Overview

As a Break Pack Sorter, you’ll get to hand sort reusable cardboard boxes to grade and ensure a clean and safe working area is maintained.

Hourly Pay

$16.00/hr

Shift(s)

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

3rd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

4th Shift: Wednesday - Saturday: 4:30 PM - 3:00 AM

What You'll Do

• Hand stack cardboard boxes onto designated pallets to appropriate height
• Load/unload materials from trailers by hand

What You'll Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• High degree of attention required to avoid safety incidents
• Ability to work overtime if/when necessary
• Previous experience with warehouse labor, general labor, construction, material handling, material moving is preferred

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
