Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment, handling inventory, operating equipment, and ensuring safety and efficiency in all warehouse operations. This includes loading and unloading goods, processing shipments, and performing related tasks according to company policies. The role also involves delivering goods, vehicle maintenance, and adhering to transportation regulations.

Key Responsibilities

1. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment and organize inventory efficiently.
2. Handle equipment and products carefully to avoid damage.
3. Report maintenance issues immediately.
4. Perform loading, unloading, and receiving processes, including proper packaging and documentation.
5. Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks.
6. Participate in additional projects like repositioning products.
7. Deliver goods safely and timely, ensuring all documentation is complete and signatures are obtained.
8. Perform daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
9. Maintain knowledge of delivery areas, regulations, and safety procedures.
10. Hold necessary certifications, including a valid driver’s license, medical card, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• Valid driver license – Class A or B
• Current medical card
• Certified to operate forklift and hi-low
• Ability to drive manual transmission and lift at least 50 lbs.
• Manual dexterity for handling materials
