Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver in California. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime and on-call availability to support operations.

Pay starts at $25/hour and may be higher based on experience. Responsibilities include forklift operation, loading/unloading, inventory control, and delivering materials to customers. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years of warehouse experience, and forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of warehouse shipping/receiving or inventory experience required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work (lifting/moving water heaters etc.).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Manually move, position, load, and unload water heaters and other materials.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF scanners and WMS to manage inventory and operations.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming materials.
• Keep the facility clean, safe, and accident-free.
