Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. in California is seeking a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver to support daily distribution operations. The role includes forklift operation, pallet building, and inventory control to ensure accurate, timely orders.

You will work Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m. with overtime as needed; eligibility for overtime and a comprehensive benefits package are offered after hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years warehouse experience in shipping, receiving, delivery, or inventory management.
• Forklift experience required.
• Ability to lift and move heavy materials.
• Must be 18+ with valid driver’s license and DOT compliance.
• Pre-employment drug and background screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a forklift to pull and prepare outbound orders.
• Manually move and load/unload water heaters and other warehouse materials.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport pallets and packages.
• Use RF scanners and Warehouse Management System to manage inventory.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Maintain a clean, safe, accident-free workspace.
• Deliver materials to customers; assist with loading/unloading and ensure ticket accuracy.
