Job summary

Specialty Building Products, the parent company of U.S. Lumber and Alexandria Moulding, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Maryland. The role includes banding, wrapping, inventory support, and ensuring accurate order fulfillment in a fast-paced warehouse.

We offer full-time and part-time options with 1st and 2nd shifts. Benefits begin after 30 days and include medical, life, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. Prior lumber experience and forklift skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prior lumber experience desired; engineered lumber experience preferred.
• Forklift experience a PLUS.
• Must have basic math and analytical skills
• Must be computer literate: Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Self-starter, pro-active and able to take initiative.

Responsibilities

• Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
• Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
• Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
• Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products
• Must be able to read a tape measure.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
• Forklift experience a plus.

FULL TIME, PART TIME, 1ST AND 2ND SHIFTS AVAILABLE!

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Associate to join our VALUES based organization. In this role you will focus on:

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
• Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
• Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.

Starting pay $19.50/Hr. based on experience.
