Specialty Building Products (SBP) is a leading distributor of specialty building products operating under brands including U.S. Lumber and Alexandria Moulding.

We are seeking a Warehouse Associate to safely operate forklifts, pick and pull orders, and maintain accurate inventory at our Maryland facility. The role requires a High School diploma and at least 1 year of warehouse experience with preferred forklift certification.

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one year warehouse distribution experience.
• Engineered Lumber experience preferred.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.

• Safely operate forklifts to load/unload, move, stage, pull orders and transport material.
• Maintain clean, organized warehouse area and ensure product placed correctly.
• Collaborate with Supervisors and colleagues to complete workload.
• Provide outstanding service with attention to detail, accuracy and timely completion.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and tracking issues.
• Read tickets and product codes; read a tape measure to pull daily orders.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions:

• Safely operate forklifts in order to complete assigned tasks including loading and unloading, moving, staging, pulling orders and transporting material. Band, wrap, and tape product as needed.
• Maintains condition of Warehouse work area, e.g. free of trash, product in correct location and organized, swept floors.
• Work cooperatively and productively with Supervisors and other employees in order to complete required workload.
• Provide and inspire outstanding service to customers by maintaining attention to detail, accuracy, quality and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
• Assist with inventory variances, order accuracy and track and trace issues.
• Reading and understanding tickets and the various codes for products.
• Must be able to read a tape measure. Accurately pull daily orders.

Required credentials:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
• Engineered Lumber experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience and forklift certification preferred but not required.
• Must have basic math and analytical skills.

Pay Rate $20.50/Hr. based on experience.
