Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support materials handling and product distribution in a distribution/manufacturing setting. The role covers inbound/outbound activities, receiving, picking, packing, and shipping while adhering to quality guidelines and safety standards.

The position requires 1–2 years of experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working at heights. Training in the Manhattan system and PIT knowledge are preferred; shift includes Sunday, Monday,

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks in the Inbound section using a pallet jack to move pallets out of the trucks.
• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
• Store and handle refrigerated products following regulations when required.
• Store products in warehouse locations using an order picker or similar devices.
• Pick products from locations and load into outbound trucks.

Shift: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday; 5:00am - 3:30pm (or until work is complete for the day)

Job Summary

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Operations is responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Unloads trucks in the Inbound section by using a pallet jack or equivalent devices to put pallets out of the trucks.
• Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products.
• If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products.
• Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices.
• Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience, preferred High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
• PIT experience is preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $20.50/hr. - $23.58/hr. (includes shift differential)
