Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking an Assoc II, Warehouse Ops to support outbound activities in Elgin, IL. The role focuses on scanning, picking, packing, and loading products, ensuring quality and safety standards while meeting daily targets.

Shift is Monday–Friday night, 8:30pm–5:00am with potential overtime; overtime paid at end of shift. Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work with heights; prior PIT experience preferred.

Shift: Monday - Friday night, 8:30pm - 5:00am (or until work is complete for the day). Must be flexible to work some overtime as necessary due to customer needs. Any OT hours will be worked at the end of the shift.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Job Summary

The Assoc II, Warehouse Ops assists on Outbound activities as requested by the Warehouse Supervisor meeting quality, safety, productivity and operational standards.

Responsibilities

Uses Manhattan Warehouse Management System to check in products. If working with specialty products, must follow regulations to store refrigerated products. Stores products in warehouse locations using order picker or other devices. Picks products from warehouse locations and loads into outbound trucks.

Qualifications

1-2 years of experience, preferred High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred PIT experience is preferred Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift Ability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfort working with heights 20-30 ft regularly
