Job summary

Cardinal Health in Elgin, IL is hiring for Warehouse Operations to support receipt, storage, and shipment of medical supplies. The role covers picking, packing, replenishing, and coordinating with carriers, with a 5:00am-1:30pm shift and overtime as needed to meet customer demands.

You’ll work to maintain efficient flow from product receipt to shipment, operate PIT equipment, and prepare the facility for day shift. Prior warehouse experience and good communication are preferred.

Job description

Shift: 5:00am-1:30 pm (or until the work is complete) Monday-Friday. Must have the flexibility to work overtime as necessary due to the needs of our customers.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred
• Good written communication skills

• PIT equipment experience preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $20.50/hr. - $23.58/hr.
