Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Associate for 2nd shift in Depew, NY. The role focuses on outbound/inbound activities with emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity. You will pick, pack, and prepare orders, using RF scanning and warehouse equipment as needed.

The position requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for 8+ hours, and overtime with short notice. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1-2 years related experience preferred.
• Basic proficiency in English, reading and writing in English required.
• Previous material handling experience preferred.
• RF scanner and/or voice-pick experience highly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours; overtime may be required.
• Willingness to learn material handling equipment and rotate roles.
• Work at heights up to 25 feet; follow safety PPE rules.

Responsibilities

• Follow SOPs to process orders: picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, building and wrapping pallets, packing and preparing orders for shipment.
• Pick large cases with equipment or small items on designated carts.
• Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
• Use Warehouse Management System (WMS) to check in/out products.
• Operate material handling equipment as required (order picker, forklift, reach truck, turret truck, pallet jack, walkie rider).
• Complete housekeeping and inventory control tasks; maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Address concerns to management and participate in associate meetings.
• Perform duties per OSHA standards and company policies.
