Job summary

HKA Enterprises, Inc. in Easton, PA invites applicants for a Warehouse Associate role. The position handles picking, packing, sorting, checking and general warehouse operations with attention to accuracy, safety, and productivity.

A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to work overtime as needed. The contract is 6 months with potential to convert to a direct hire. Day shift is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:30 PM, with an hourly pay rate of $20.00.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; proof required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, twist, push, pull, and climb.
• Work in varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Interest in transitioning to a permanent position after six-month contract.
• Experience in warehouse, distribution center, or logistics.
• Experience with picking, packing, sorting, checking, shipping, receiving, or inventory control.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS), preferably SAP.
• Automotive parts distribution or automotive OEM experience.

Responsibilities

• Picking: Locate and pull the correct parts and products to fulfill customer orders.
• Packing: Package parts securely and accurately to prevent damage during shipping.
• Sorting: Sort, organize, and place parts in their designated warehouse locations.
• Checking and Verification: Open cartons, inspect incoming parts, verify quantities and accuracy, and identify damaged or incorrect items.
• Scanning: Use RF scanners to scan parts and update inventory information in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• General Warehouse Work: Assist with receiving, shipping, inventory control, stocking, and reverse logistics.
• Inventory Accuracy: Report missing parts, damaged materials, inventory discrepancies, and shipping errors.
• Workstation Organization: Keep work areas clean, organized, and stocked with the materials needed to complete daily assignments.

The manager is looking for a dependable warehouse candidate with hands‑on experience in picking, packing, sorting, checking, and general warehouse operations. Candidates should be comfortable performing these tasks throughout the workday while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and safety. A high school diploma or GED is REQUIRED. Candidates MUST be able to provide proof of their high school diploma or GED. Do not submit candidates who cannot provide the required documentation. This is not intended to be a short‑term temporary assignment. The company wants someone who is interested in joining its team permanently after successfully completing the initial six‑month contract.
