Job summary

7Seventy is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support distribution center operations, including receiving, stocking, pulling, staging, packing and shipping freight with attention to inventory accuracy and safety.

Responsibilities include processing orders, stocking and shipping ecommerce items, maintaining bin inventory, and handling returns. The role requires basic math, organization, teamwork and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 to 3 years distribution center or warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Basic computer skills and ability to recognize part numbers.

Responsibilities

• Receive, stock, pull, stage, pack, and ship freight.
• Process customer orders efficiently.
• Inspect, label and tag inventory for accuracy.
• Maintain daily inventory levels and replenish stock as needed.
• Handle returns and process stock movements.
• Report damaged inventory and discrepancies to management.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records and documentation.
• Operate forklifts and order pickers safely (training provided).
• Use warehouse computer and barcode systems as needed.

Position summary

Day-to-day work

• Process customer orders efficiently.
• Pull stock orders and put away incoming merchandise.
• Inspect, mark, and tag parts for inventory.
• Pick, pack, and ship ecommerce orders.
• Maintain daily bin inventory levels and replenish products as needed.
• Process incoming and outgoing stock orders and customer returns.
• Report damaged products and inventory discrepancies to management.
• Maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Operate forklifts and order pickers safely, with training provided.
• Use warehouse computer and barcode equipment as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and complete other assigned warehouse tasks.

Skills and experience

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• 1 to 3 years of distribution center or warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
• Basic computer skills.

• Knowledge of warehouse safety requirements.
• Parts knowledge and identification experience is a plus.

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift and carry freight weighing up to 70 pounds regularly.
• Ability to push and pull heavier products using hand trucks, carts, pallet jacks, and other mechanical aids.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the facility.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and heavy machinery.
• Ability to work in hot and cold weather conditions.
