Job summary

Oldcastle BuildingEnvelope in Waxahachie, Texas is seeking a Material Handler 2 to join our Warehouse Department. This role focuses on safely loading and unloading, working with a team, and rotating responsibilities to support production.

You will operate PIT equipment, read labels and paperwork, count materials, and be flexible to work in multiple areas of production. We offer opportunities for growth and a stable career with a leading building products company.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, understand and communicate paperwork and labels
• Must be able to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure.
• Must be able to attach appropriate labels to material while correctly counting and identifying material
• Can perform in multiple areas of the department or other departments.

Responsibilities

• On/off-load of product from tables, rolling racks, delivery trucks, or wood crates
• Work as part of a team
• Perform different functions on a rotating basis that are considered essential function of your job
• Be available to work in all areas of production
• Perform work as assigned by Supervisor
• Will need to operate PIT equipment
