Job summary

Olympic Steel, Inc. is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift (Tuesday–Friday) in Georgia. You will support production on the shop floor, assist with machine operations, and help move WIP and raw materials.

The role includes loading trucks, coordinating with in-house operations, and ensuring material readiness. Qualified applicants are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, with basic crane operation knowledge and computer skills.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Support production processes on the floor including machine support and movement of WIP.
• In-house secondary operations and finished goods staging, truck loading, and raw material receiving/preparation.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all job tasks required to support production processes. These activities may include machine support, movement of work-in-progress material on the production floor, in-house secondary operations, finished goods staging, truck loading, raw material receiving and raw material and finished goods preparation and management. THis position is 1st Shift Tuesday- Friday
