Job summary

Olympic Steel, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support production on the floor, move WIP material, and assist with packing, inspection, and material handling. The role involves crane operation familiarity, basic computer use, and a safety-conscious mindset.

You will help with raw material receiving, finished goods staging, and loading for transport, contributing to a stable, team-based work environment.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined; safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and lifting devices.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Support production processes and machine operations on the floor.
• Move work-in-progress material and assist with in-house secondary operations.
• Assist with finished goods packing, inspection and banding.
• Handle truck loading and material receiving, plus prep of raw materials and finished goods.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all job tasks required to support production processes. These activities may include machine support, movement of work-in-progress material on the production floor, in-house secondary operations, finished goods staging, packing, inspecting and banding, truck loading, raw material receiving and raw material and finished goods preparation and management.

Qualifications:

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.
