Olympic Steel is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Bedford Heights, OH to support production with machine assistance, movement of WIP, and proper staging of finished goods. The role includes packing, inspecting, banding, and loading trucks, with a focus on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined with production experience.
• Knowledge of crane operation is a plus.
• Able to operate general computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Support production processes with machine assistance and movement of materials.
• Assist in in-house secondary operations, packing, inspecting and banding finished goods.
• Handle raw material receiving and preparation for production.
• Load trucks and stage finished goods for shipping.
• Maintain safe work practices and quality standards.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all job tasks required to support production processes. These activities may include machine support, movement of work-in-progress material on the production floor, in-house secondary operations, finished goods staging, packing, inspecting and banding, truck loading, raw material receiving and raw material and finished goods preparation and management.

Shift: 3:00pm- 11:30pm Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.
