Job summary

Olympic Steel, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 1st shift (Tuesday–Friday) at our Oakwood, GA location. The role involves supporting production, moving WIP material, and handling raw materials and finished goods preparation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Ideal candidates are high school graduates or GED holders who are mechanically inclined, safety-conscious, and proficient with basic computer programs. On-site work with potential for growth and company-provided benefits.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.

Responsibilities

• Support production processes and machine operations on the floor.
• Move work-in-progress material on the production floor.
• Manage raw material receiving, preparation, and finish goods staging; assist with truck loading.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all job tasks required to support production processes. These activities may include machine support, movement of work-in-progress material on the production floor, in-house secondary operations, finished goods staging, truck loading, raw material receiving and raw material and finished goods preparation and management. THis position is 1st Shift Tuesday- Friday
