Job summary

Industrial Fabricators Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented warehouse picker to support daily fulfillment operations. You will read picks, verify bin locations, and pull parts to package them for shipment, following diagrams and part numbers.

This role requires basic math, the ability to follow written and diagrammatic instructions, and the physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Overtime and weekend work may be required based on customer demand.

Qualifications

• Reads picks to determine quantity and target bin.
• Verifies part against blueprint/diagram at bin location.
• Pulls parts and packs into appropriate box or padding.
• Follows written instructions and diagrams to perform duties.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as picks, safety rules, diagrams, and part numbers.
• Counts and performs basic addition/subtraction, up to fifty.
• Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each duty listed above. The requirements listed below are required knowledge skill and / or ability required.

Language skills:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as picks, safety rules, diagrams, and part numbers.

Mathematical skills:

Individual must be able to calculate using addition and subtraction and count to fifty. (Basic Math)

Reasoning ability:

Ability to apply common sense to understand and carry out instructions, in written, oral or diagram form.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described herein are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the duties listed above. While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to stand while working, reach with hands and arms, grasp with hands, talk, and hear. The employee is required to bend/twist to move parts in working area. Ability to lift/move 10 to 25 pounds regularly, lift/move up to 50 pounds occasionally required.

Department Hours

are subject to change based on customer demands! Employees in this department should be prepared as hours change and can do so by request of the plant manager due to customer demands.

General Hours 1st shift (8 hours) 7:30 am - 4pm or until the work is complete.

Overtime and weekends are required when requested by our department manager, plant manager, due to customer demand. We have been known to work Monday - Sunday. This department does not typically work Sundays, but they can ask should a customer or our production drive us to need to do so.

The key is communication!! You must be in constant communication with you lead or supervisor to know what hours are needed in your department each day.
