Job summary

IPS Corporation in Tennessee is seeking a Warehouse Associate II to operate material handling equipment and pick finished goods or raw materials for shipment or production.

You will perform duties including order pulling, loading, documentation checks, and accurate packaging to ensure on-time delivery and smooth production flow.

Qualifications

  • Basic mathematical knowledge including addition and subtraction.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and interpret production documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Pull and organize customer orders for delivery from warehouse.
  • Load materials into vehicles and secure with bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Manually load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices.
  • Check all documentation to make sure that it is correct.
  • Ensure products are packaged and labelled correctly and accurately shipped to customers and drop ship locations.
  • Take upcoming work orders and pull all necessary materials and place in designated staging areas to keep production flowing with little to no downtime.
  • When required, handle incoming stock from receiving and place in proper location.
  • Verify the accuracy of all shipping functions such as labeling and all packaging information.
  • Maintain quality standards.
  • Package products for return to vendors and fill out any RMA paperwork prior to shipment.
  • Label deliveries and allocate them to their designated location.
  • Process FedEx and UPS shipments.
  • Cover for receiving associate as needed.

Department: Warehouse and Logistics

Summary:

Operate material handling equipment for accurately picking finished goods or raw material to be shipped or used in production. Ability to perform Warehouse Associate II functions plus the following:

Duties:
  • Pull and organize customer orders for delivery from warehouse.
  • Load materials into vehicle and when necessary, install bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
  • Manually, load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, platforms or lifting devices.
  • Check all documentation to make sure that it is correct.
  • Ensure products are packaged and labelled correctly and accurately shipped to customers and drop ship locations
  • Take upcoming work orders and pull all necessary materials (boxes, cans, labels, etc.) and place in designated staging areas to keep production flowing with little to no downtime
  • When required, handle incoming stock from receiving and place in proper location
