This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to follow job specifications accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Perform part preparation tasks including stamping, riveting, and sanding using hands, wrists, and arms.

Interpret and follow instructions outlined in job packets.

Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds throughout an 8-hour shift.

Operate a variety of hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.

Push and pull crates weighing up to 1,000 pounds using a manual pallet jack during the workday.

Prioritize work orders based on production schedules and deadlines.

Read and accurately interpret gauges and measurement tools.

Must be open to cross training in all department on plant floor.

Education and/or Experience

High School diploma or equivalent required. 3-6 months of fabrication work experience desired.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, procedures, operating and maintenance instructions or manuals. Ability to speak audibly, and present information in one‑on‑one and small group situations.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written or diagram form.

• Pushing/pulling pallet jacks, weld tables, and fixtures throughout the day.
• Frequent bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, squatting, and climbing onto platforms or catwalks.
• Repetitive hand use and firm gripping of metal parts.
• Standing/walking/working at a station for up to 7 hours per shift.
• Close visual inspection, reading prints, measurements, and hearing shop signals/announcements.
