Job summary

Cardinal Health in Elgin, IL is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the day shift to handle receiving, picking, packing, and shipping of medical supplies. You’ll prepare the facility for the day team and coordinate with LTL carriers to release shipments.

The role requires 1–2 years of warehouse experience, basic MS Office skills, and a high school diploma or GED. Overtime may be required; the shift runs 5:00am-1:30pm, Monday–Friday.

Shift: 5:00am-1:30 pm (or until the work is complete) Monday-Friday. Must have the flexibility to work overtime as necessary due to the needs of our customers.

What Warehouse Operations Contributes To Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred

• PIT equipment experience preferred

Anticipated hourly range: $20.50/hr. - $23.58/hr.
