Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a full-time material handler in Anthony, TX to load/unload materials, operate a forklift and overhead crane, and support daily branch operations.

Base pay starts at $15.75 per hour; you will also contribute to inventory control in the ERP system and maintain a safe, clean workspace while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, overhead crane and construction tools to load and unload materials.
• Complete orders safely, accurately, and timely while assisting coworkers and customers.
• Inspect materials, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management and daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Move inventory between workstations and areas while following safety rules.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $15.75 per hour

Day Shift: 6:00AM - 5:00PM

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
