Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a capable production team member for its Rome, NY facility. The role focuses on packaging, labeling, and quality control to ensure continuous high-quality output. You will work with hand tools and measuring devices, supporting a fast-paced production line.

The position requires physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, adherence to safety practices, and prior manufacturing experience. Overtime may be available based on work orders and seasonality.

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour

Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Packaging and labeling material for loading and distribution
• Responsible for quality control of finished products
• Working with hand tools, wrenches, banding equipment, screw guns
• Using measuring gauges and tape measures
• Communicate with team members to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials
• Housekeeping and sanitation

Qualifications

• Physical Stamina and Strength
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is a requirment
• Experience in overhead crane operations are helpful but not required
• Experience with Forklifts helpful but not required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist

This is a position with the potential overtime. The shifts are 8 hours, 10 hours, and 12 hours long depending on work orders for the day and season of the year.
