Cornerstone Building Brands in Bay City, MI is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a permanent full-time role. You will unload deliveries, pick, pack, and ship orders, and maintain accurate inventory while adhering to safety standards.

This role requires stamina, attention to detail, and teamwork. Regular hours are 7:00 am–3:30 pm on 1st shift (Mon–Fri) or 10:30 pm–7:00 am on 3rd shift (Sun–Thu); overtime may occur during peak season. Benefits begin day one and 401k plus PTO are offered.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and processing stock: unloading deliveries, checking for accuracy, and storing items appropriately.
• Order fulfillment: picking, packing, and shipping orders accurately and efficiently.
• Inventory management: organizing and maintaining inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate, and conducting regular inventory checks.
• Quality control: inspecting products for defects and damages, ensuring only quality items are shipped.
• Warehouse maintenance: keeping the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations.
• Documentation: creating and managing invoices, tracking shipments, and maintaining records of incoming and outgoing goods.

This is a permanent full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive pay!

Regular hours for this position are Monday thru Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm for 1st shift and Sunday thru Thursday 10:30 pm to 7:00 am for 3rd shift. Overtime including working on weekends may be required during peak season.

SCOPE OF ROLE

The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in the logistics and supply chain operations of a company.

KEY OBJECTIVES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receiving and Processing Stock: Unloading deliveries, checking for accuracy, and storing items appropriately

Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and move heavy items, often requiring the use of equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring orders are processed accurately and inventory is managed correctly
• Organizational Skills: Efficiently organizing stock and maintaining a clean workspace
• Teamwork: Collaborating with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with warehouse management systems and basic computer skills

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lifting Capacity – ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Mobility – Prolonged periods of time on feet, standing, bending, etc.
• Exposure – Moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, and non-climate-controlled environment

Additional Information

The US base hourly pay range for this full-time position is targeting $16.00 - $17.00 per hour + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
