Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is a leading manufacturer of exterior building products. This warehouse role in Alvin, TX, on 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, involves loading/unloading, forklift operation, and light manufacturing tasks to support branch operations.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, be at least 18, and obtain forklift/overhead crane certification as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision from day 1.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products to support operations at the branch location.
• Operate a forklift, light manufacturing equipment, and construction tools.
• Assist with inventory management including daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
• Assist in movement of inventory within workstations and areas.
• Comply with safety requirements and use PPE.

JOB DETAILS

Base pay rate is $16.75 per hour

1st Shift: 7:00AM - 4:00PM

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Warehouse Associates are responsible for loading and unloading materials and products to support operations at the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, light manufacturing equipment, and construction tools.

• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damageAssist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Acombination of education and experience may be qualifying
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane
