Job Information

• Schedule: 1st Shift 6:00am-2:30pm Monday - Friday | 2nd Shift 3:00pm - 11:30pm | Occasional overtime on Saturdays
• Objective: Transfer material manually by hand, or utilizing a manual pallet jack or using a lifting device attached to a hoist as specified in the standard work.

Role & Responsibility

Essential Functions

• Unload and stack material using lifting devices attached to hoists.
• Load or unload materials onto or off pallets, skids, or lifting devices manually as needed.
• Load parts manually from racks, tubs, and/or bins in the warehouse to trays or racks, and transport to kit carts.
• Follow set routes through the department to load kit carts.
• Load and unload parts manually from the paint line.
• Maintain safety checks on equipment.
• Perform duties safely and efficiently, complying with safety rules and regulations.
• Use electronic scanners to transact material as needed.

Other Duties

• Keep aisles clean and organized.
• Assist in training and instructing others as requested by supervisor.
• Complete preventative maintenance and other duties as directed by Total Production Maintenance.
• Perform other non-essential duties as assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Follow established methods and procedures; perform work accordingly. Ability to work rapidly under time pressure for extended periods.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; allow for equivalent experience.
• Experience: 0-2 years.
• Effective communication skills in written and verbal forms, typically acquired through high school or equivalent.
