Responsibilities
  1. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the outbound distribution strategy as outlined in this job description.
  2. Learn and operate the SAP WMS system related to job functions.
  3. Understand warehouse layout and bin sequencing to navigate and execute picking strategies efficiently.
  4. Follow barcode strategies for finished goods, using RF scanners to select materials and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
  5. Operate lift trucks, pallet jacks, or hand trucks to load/unload trucks and move products within the warehouse.
  6. Inspect stock and outgoing shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
  7. Package products securely using appropriate materials.
  8. Affix shipping labels and verify addresses for accuracy.
  9. Determine shipment methods and coordinate with carriers.
  10. Calculate shipping costs and record shipment details accurately.
  11. Sort parcels for shipment by destination and prepare dealer orders for pickup.
  12. Conduct physical inventory counts to ensure compliance with company standards.
Your expertise
  1. High school diploma or GED; or equivalent experience and training.
  2. Thorough knowledge of all company products in stock.
  3. Adherence to safety, inventory control policies, and regulations.
  4. Safe operation of vertical lift mechanisms and warehouse security during working hours.
  5. Ability to read and interpret safety and operational documents.
  6. Effective communication skills for presenting information and writing simple correspondence.
  7. Mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and data interpretation.
  8. Ability to follow instructions and solve problems involving multiple variables.
  9. Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly and more than 100 pounds occasionally, with accommodations as needed.
  10. Awareness of potential exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, and airborne particles, with an understanding of work environment conditions.
