Job summary

Premier Packaging in Whitner, KY is seeking a forklift operator to safely move and transport corrugated materials within our manufacturing facility. You will load/unload, assist inventory and coordinate with production teams to ensure timely deliveries.

We value teamwork, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced environment. Prior forklift experience and a willingness to learn new material handling tasks are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Forklift certification is preferred.
• 1–3 years experience as a forklift operator in manufacturing or warehouse setting.
• Experience with different forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, clamp, etc.).
• Familiarity with handling and transporting materials in corrugated manufacturing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate sit-down and/or stand-up forklift to move, stack, and transport corrugated materials within the facility.
• Load and unload corrugated materials from trucks and storage areas using the forklift.
• Transport materials to and from production areas, ensuring timely delivery.
• Assist in organizing and managing inventory within the facility.
• Collaborate with forklift operators and team members to optimize workflow and communicate with supervisors.
• Report issues or delays that may impact production schedules.
