Pay rate:
$21.10 / hr
Schedule:
Work schedule will include weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Create a best-in-class customer experience for every customer, every time.
- Obtain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products, including dimensions, weight, assembly, and materials, during storing, moving, and assembling merchandise.
- Transport, locate, load, and unload merchandise safely and professionally, including heavy and oddly shaped items.
- Use a computer terminal to look up customer and merchandise information.
- Match product to invoice, packing slip, or bill of lading accurately and ensure orders are paid in full.
- Handle and assemble merchandise carefully to prevent damage.
- Assist with showroom changes, tagging merchandise, and maintaining displays and a clean showroom and backroom.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the work environment.
- Follow all safety procedures and observe safe lifting methods.
- Occasionally travel to customer locations for delivery, assembly, or repair.
- Perform other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to read and understand work orders and shipping/receiving paperwork.
- Ability to lift at least 75 lbs unassisted regularly.
- Obtain and maintain forklift certification if necessary.
- Experience with equipment like pallet jacks, hand tools, 4-wheelers, and hand trucks.
- Basic math, computer, and POS skills with high accuracy.
- Valid driver’s license and 18+ years old.
- Pre-employment screening including drug, physical, and background checks.
- Ability to stand, lift, bend, and twist for extended periods and work at heights up to 25 feet.
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
