Location:

1251 Andover Park W, Tukwila, WA, 98188

Position:

Non-Exempt / Hourly

Pay rate:

$21.10 / hr

Schedule:

Work schedule will include weekends.

Responsibilities:

1. Create a best-in-class customer experience for every customer, every time.
2. Obtain and maintain comprehensive knowledge of our products, including dimensions, weight, assembly, and materials, during storing, moving, and assembling merchandise.
3. Transport, locate, load, and unload merchandise safely and professionally, including heavy and oddly shaped items.
4. Use a computer terminal to look up customer and merchandise information.
5. Match product to invoice, packing slip, or bill of lading accurately and ensure orders are paid in full.
6. Handle and assemble merchandise carefully to prevent damage.
7. Assist with showroom changes, tagging merchandise, and maintaining displays and a clean showroom and backroom.
8. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety within the work environment.
9. Follow all safety procedures and observe safe lifting methods.
10. Occasionally travel to customer locations for delivery, assembly, or repair.
11. Perform other duties as directed.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent customer service, teamwork, and communication skills.
2. Attention to detail and reliability.
3. Ability to read and understand work orders and shipping/receiving paperwork.
4. Ability to lift at least 75 lbs unassisted regularly.
5. Obtain and maintain forklift certification if necessary.
6. Experience with equipment like pallet jacks, hand tools, 4-wheelers, and hand trucks.
7. Basic math, computer, and POS skills with high accuracy.
8. Valid driver’s license and 18+ years old.
9. Pre-employment screening including drug, physical, and background checks.
10. Ability to stand, lift, bend, and twist for extended periods and work at heights up to 25 feet.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent, with 1-3 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a warehouse environment.
